Oak Aquatics

How we started

OA started when life handed us some lemons. When a layoff from an engineering role found us, we felt that it was time to try something different. That something different was breeding and selling fish. We got into fish keeping when our daughter was just over one years old. She was very interested in watching the fishies whenever we went to the pet store with our pups. We decided to get a tank and build up some fish for her to watch and enjoy. That small 10 gallon tank expanded quickly to add a 75 gallon planted tank to the line up. From there we found that many of the species we had were already spawning and thought it may be fun to dip our toes further into the waters.

Nowadays

Fast forward to today, we now have a fish room that houses a large number of fish species, snails, and shrimp. We are always on the look out for varieties that are unique to help add some diversity to your community tanks. If you are ever interested in something that you don't see on our site, feel free to reach out and let us know what you are looking for, we may be able to get something for you.
